Freed, Sandra, Rob, Bill, Becky, and Charles had a great conversation at our WP Buffalo breakfast last Thursday at Anastasia’s in North Tonawanda. Among other things we discussed:
- A recent C Panel security breach
- How to deploy AI-built websites for infraction use, i.e., adding blog posts, assets, etc.
- Beaver builder is working on adding AI into its platform
- How quickly website technology is evolving, and the time it takes to keep up
- Elementor’s and Divi’s recent updates
- Interviewing techniques & practices
- Moving from Google reCAPTCHA to Cloudflare Turnstile
- Hiding website pages from bots
- Time vampires that suck your time away – Customers, technology, wormholes, etc.
- Email apps like Brevo, SMTP, SendGrid, and Proton Mail
- Sending emails from a website vs via a CMS such as Mailchimp
Anastasia’s Artisan Bakery specializes in naturally levained, European-style sourdough bread and pastries, fermented to just the right taste, not much at all into the sourness. Anastasia bakes in small batches using the best locally sourced products, going organic with many of the main ingredients. If you haven’t been there — make it a point to go. You won’t regret it.
Interested in meeting us for one of our breakfast meetups? We meed bi-weekly throughout the year normally on Wednesday or Thursday. Times change based on the host’s availability, and we try to hit a new spot regularly. We’ve been doing this for two years now, however, so we’re re-visiting some of our favorites. If you have a coffee shop or a part of WNY you’d like to meet in, message Freed on LinkedIn and let’s arrange it!
