Join us at Clarence Center Café (https://www.clarencecentercoffee.com/) on Friday, June 6 at 9:00 am, where we chat all things WordPress …or not, as we see fit. This is an informal gathering to get to know one another and talk shop. Come join us!
There were four of us at WP Buffalo’s Meetup May 22 at Artisan Bread in North Tonawanda and among other things we discussed:
Elementor’s increasing use of ads/announcements in the WP Dashboard
Using control- shift to keep copy in one element in Gutenberg
Using global custom CSS with page builders
Schema and giving the option for light or dark mode on sites
Malicious code in image files
Using SEO Plugins vs adding schema with code
Putting image Metadata in schema vs as description in the image
Adding gamifying to websites with Gaming Press and H5P
Using Wordfence and SiteGround security plugin for security vulnerabilities
Renaming the admin URL
Duolingo and Jumpspeak
How and when do we use AI?
